I arrived at my room at 12:00 AM, I stayed in room 205, the floor was dirty and there were visible boot marks. The next day, while I was taking a shower, the hotel's fire alarm went off. According to the receptionist, it was my fault that I was taking a shower. They called my room and I was accused of everything and more. As if that wasn't enough, the housekeeper came knocking on the door, it must have been her, since she didn't identify herself. I was still undressed and I had to cover myself quickly because she almost knocked the door down from banging so much. Once again, I was called an idiot by the lady, as she insists that the bathroom has a steam extraction system. The space/hole is there, but there is no extraction system whatsoever. If the bathroom in the room is not equipped with steam extraction, don't put the room up for sale. I do not recommend it to anyone. Terrible in every way - I had already made this comment on Booking.com - now I question some of the comments in the response. How does the hotel know that I took a 30-minute shower, as the hotel mentions, and that there was a lot of steam in the room? Did they listen behind the door? Do they have video surveillance systems in the rooms? After answering the receptionist's call, I still had a lady who, after knocking on the door so many times (not 3 times), I had to go open the door with my pants in my hand, as I was still drying myself. Regarding the dirty floor, it was dirty, yes.

Although it's an old hotel, it's extremely clean and well-maintained, allowing its antique charm to shine through. The receptionist is also very friendly. It's a great place to stay.
