For the price, you can't ask for more, but in my opinion, there are many things that need improvement. Do you feel safe? The answer is no. Locking the doors is a bit of a struggle, the hallways are cramped, and in case of fire, there are no smoke detectors in the rooms, the fire extinguisher is non-compliant, and the last inspection was in 2023. I wasn't reassured because from outside, you could see someone smoking in the room. On the positive side, the welcome was friendly, the sheets and towels were clean, there were no suspicious smells in the room, and overall it was clean. The elevator only has a capacity for one person without luggage, but this is Paris, so it wasn't a problem for me. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Lady at reception is amazing! So kind and nice! Everybody writing about small elevator - but for as it was a fun experience and entertainment hahah! I love it! Room was quite small, but location is just amazing. Good for this money! :)

I rarely read reviews, and that's a mistake. For this 3-night stay, I should have... we're living through it. I'll start with the negatives because it's 4 a.m. right now, and I'm on my third night... Horrible nights spent here because of the poor quality single-glazed windows. You can hear everything that's going on outside. Obviously, it echoes with the cars and horns, and people talking—it's awful. On top of that, the radiators don't work in the shower/toilet area; you can't even call it a bathroom, it's so tiny... and there's a lack of insulation because of the windows; it's cold at night. The insulation is nonexistent; you can hear everything that's going on next door or in the hallway... last night, our neighbor vomited all night long!!! Can you imagine?! We have a six-year-old child. So we had a triple room, but it was impossible to push the beds together because the people weren't straight; there was a gap. So I had to keep an eye on them to make sure they didn't fall out of bed… it was stressful… The so-called service lift they call an elevator is basically a drawer standing upright! I'd never seen anything like it, but oh well, it does the job for getting to the 5th floor. So much for comfort… The staff, on the other hand, were lovely. A special mention for the lady who, according to her, gave us a magnificent room… She should sleep one night… In short, the location is great, but it's fine for one or two nights, but no more… or at least, it's not on the street… We were offered breakfast yesterday morning because of our complaints… it's not a buffet, but it's enough and very good, like in a brasserie…
