Jomkitti Boutique Hotel

We stayed here for our honeymoon in the Executive Suite and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is very conveniently located in Chiang Mai’s Old Town, within walking distance to many temples and the Sunday Walking Street Market, and it’s also relatively close to the airport. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with a nice bathtub, separate shower, and a Japanese-style bidet toilet which was a great touch. As travellers from Canada who are quite particular about comfort and cleanliness, this hotel definitely met our expectations. We were initially worried about noise since our room was located right beside the elevator and across from a school, but we had no noise issues at all and slept very peacefully. A special thank you to Ella at the front desk, who truly went above and beyond when I experienced stomach issues during the first day we checked in. She gave helpful advice, offered to help us arrange transportation to a local hospital, and even checked in with us the next day to make sure we were okay. Her kindness made a stressful situation much easier. The staff also helped us book excursions, and when we sent out our laundry, it came back washed, dried, and neatly folded, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was better than expected based on some reviews we had read. The food was hot and fresh, well stocked, and perfectly sufficient to start the day before heading out to explore the city. Overall, although the hotel is marketed as a 3-star property, we would personally rate it closer to a solid 4-star experience because of the comfort, cleanliness, location, and excellent service.

We spent a wonderful 16 days here. The location is perfect for exploring the old town; we managed to get everywhere on foot. The school across the street is charming. The room was large and well-equipped. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and supportive with organizational matters. Breakfast was good, the fruit delicious, and the hot Thai dishes rival those in restaurants 😋. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

I highly recommend this hotel. The room is very large, clean, well-equipped, and of high quality. We were on the top floor and weren't bothered by any noise. The biggest plus is the location; everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was average—limited sweet options and the staff were unwelcoming, giving the impression that they were bothering us. Be aware that additional services are very expensive (especially airport transfers).
