This was my first time staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, I was immediately shown to the parking lot, but it was across the street and in an open-air parking lot. It was raining, so it was quite a hassle. After parking and heading to the front desk, there was a long line waiting to check in. I think they should have more staff at the front desk. The room was clean and I was satisfied, but the towel rack was only in the bathroom, so I think it would have been better if there was one in the room as well. The bathroom was a little small considering the building. The sauna has both auto-louvering and self-louvering, which is a nice service for sauna lovers. The food was very satisfying for a budget-friendly hotel.

The rooms were old and dirty. There were long queues for check-in and dining. The bathtub was large, but the floor really needed cleaning. With so many hotels in Jozankei, it would be better to choose another place.

I stayed one night during a three-day weekend in November. I checked in around 3:30 PM, but there was a long line. The shuttle bus arrived, and the line got even longer. There were only two people at the counter. There was a lot of sideways movement due to things like copying passports, and the explanations were long and slow. The hall staff actually created lanes to organize the line, rather than working at the counter. The room was comfortable with a tatami room and a bed. I was surprised to see that the complimentary mineral water was a 1-liter bottle of Ilohasu. The Wi-Fi was strong, the TV was large, and the stay was perfect. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style. Dinner was served at a timed schedule, in 15-minute increments. The ingredients were reasonably tasty, and the service from the foreign staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast had no designated time slot, and it was crowded. It took about 20 minutes to get in, and the staff member proudly announced, "It takes about 20 minutes for your food to be served." This is nothing to brag about. The bath was large, and the water was excellent. This place has good facilities and I would recommend it if you can avoid the crowds.
