JR-EAST HOTEL METS SAPPORO

I found the hotel extremely clean. The staff were also very polite. The housekeeping staff kept our room impeccably tidy every day. The location was also very convenient. It's right next to the Sapporo Station North Exit on the airport train. We also joined a day tour, and the meeting point was right next door. It's perfect for travelers who aren't driving. 💖💖 I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sapporo! ☺️☺️☺️

This hotel is close to Sapporo Station (about a 3-minute walk) and has a clean, modern atmosphere. The front desk staff was friendly, and the amenities included bath salts (Bub and Onsen series), high-quality body wash towels that are gentle on the skin, Sekkisei, a Dyson hair dryer, and a ReFa shower bed, making for a comfortable stay. The refrigerator also stocked chilled drinks and relaxing chocolates, which I appreciated as a warm welcome from the hotel. The breakfast menu was small but generally tasty, but it could have been better if it featured more local ingredients and regional dishes to emphasize the Hokkaido flavor. Given the generally rising prices (even when they don't reflect the actual price) (← guests are probably fed up with this), the relatively reasonable prices were also a plus. This was a great hotel, and I would definitely choose this hotel whenever I stay in Sapporo. Cons ① There was a smoking room across from the laundry and vending machine area on the front floor, and the entire area smelled incredibly bad of cigarettes, which was annoying. When I went to do the laundry, my clothes and hair were also stained with someone else's cigarette smell, which was extremely annoying. I had to hold my breath before going in and out. 2. Regarding cleaning: The room was generally clean, so I thought it was probably just a coincidence, but there was hair in the bathtub and under the pillow on the bed. This alone made me a little unsure as to whether the rest of the room was properly cleaned and whether the sheets and pillowcases had been changed. I did rinse the bathtub myself and slept with a towel over my pillow, but... Other than the above, I was very satisfied, so I hope they can make improvements and further improve the hotel.

Thank you very much for making our first trip in Hokkaido to be a good one. I was planning our trip for months. However, I had a really stressful experience one day before our flight to Japan. My phone was stolen and I was supposed to finalize everything for the trip, to cancel the double reservations I made within the free cancellation period of Booking.com. It was so stressful that we even thought of cancelling the whole trip. But we pushed through and immediately communicated with your hotel through email.
