I highly recommend JRW Welmond. We stayed five nights in September and I must say choosing them was a right decision, they offer reasonable prices and an above average level of service, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We also had a delightful experience at the casino. About the food- we had breakfasts only, we were satisfied. I would improve the coffee though. I recommend taking a room with sea view. For the location- it is probably far from the center comparing to the rest of the known hotels, however we had no difficulties to get to places using local drivers and walking around sometimes.

Great hotel, rooms are okay, nothing special but nothing is missing, not new, simple rooms, but I must mention a very high level of service, good people, very nice hosts, nice breakfast, there is a selection of delicious things, and an excellent location close to everything, you can walk directly to the Batumi promenade, excellent location. We were a couple and enjoyed it very much. There is also a very nice casino in the hotel.

"It was a very good experience. The staff were attentive, and the social areas were spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was very rich, and the rooms were spacious, airy, and had a wonderful view. Being within walking distance of historical sites is a big advantage. I would definitely recommend it in terms of price/performance."
