Warning: If you consider this as a hotel for your family or staycation- Stay Away!! Writing this heavy hearted as I am a UAE resident for decades and usually like Jumeirah. During these days we need to support each other - this is why I continue to go out and do staycations to support hotels. However, this hotel is currently not in a condition to operate as a 5star property. The vast majority of the hotel facilities are closed including beach areas, club lounge, several restaurants etc. The part of the hotel that is open is the one next to Mayabay, which meant loud music keeping my children awake the whole night!! Service level is the lowest I’ve seen in a long time. Low staycation prices seem to be confused with an invitation to provide 2-3star service level. In particular the Guest Relations Assistant (Alexandra Sidielieva), unprofessional, highly arrogant and unwilling to understand families traveling. As usual it’s the people that can make a difference and unfortunately here it makes you want to run away. Never again -in good times or bad.

We stayed at Jumeirah Al Naseem during the February half term as a family of three, and overall we had a really lovely stay. Before arriving, however, it was quite frustrating trying to get hold of anyone to help with questions about our booking. There is a concierge available on WhatsApp shortly before check-in, but trying to clarify things from overseas beforehand was quite difficult and at times felt like a bit of a nightmare. That said, once we actually arrived at the hotel, the experience completely changed for the better. The staff were absolutely amazing — incredibly attentive, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to ❤️Roberta❤️ at the welcome team. I mentioned that it was my son’s birthday the day after we arrived, and the team went above and beyond. When we got to our room, there was a birthday cake waiting for him along with balloons, and even a car decoration because she remembered that he likes cars. It was such a thoughtful touch and made his day really special. My son had just turned four, and one of the main reasons we chose the hotel was because of the waterpark. Unfortunately, about 90% of the rides that were supposed to be suitable for his age were closed during our stay, and we hadn’t been made aware of this in advance. As a result, he was only able to go on one ride, which was quite disappointing! Please check on the waterpark rides before you book if you have a child that is under 5? Overall, despite the communication challenges before arrival and the waterpark closures (huge factor on why I gave 4*), we still had a fantastic stay and the service once we were there was truly excellent.
