I had returned to our residence in Phuket from a grueling 3-country/5-city work trip just 2 days prior to us relocation back to the US. The hectic timing was not ideal, so, we set 4 days aside to unwind and recuperate at the JW Marriott in Khao Lak prior to catching our flights home. I had not stayed at this resort before, and left very, very, impressed. It is incredibly well laid out, the restaurants spectacular, and the staff really on top of their game. As a Titanium Elite member, the upgrade to the executive suite was much appreciated, and it was spectacular. The outdoor shower is addicting (note: project for Mendocino). The weekend also coincided with my birthday, so it was extra special. The hotel made the birthday special. All our meals were memorable – the larb and Massman dishes at Ta Krai (Thai) really stood out. The cocktails and appetizers at Drift was excellent, the rolls and grilled Hamachi at Sakura was top notch and very fresh. Lastly, the La Fiesta seafood buffet at Olive was outrageous. The dishes were very high quality and included fresh oysters, and ridiculously delicious wine infused cheese selections (desert). The range of dishes just went on and on. I want to give a special mention to Natasha (manager) and Abhi (GM). I highly recommend this resort, and we plan a trip back this December.

Perfect hotel! There are no words to describe the experience ... We stayed for 4 nights (we would have loved to stay another 4...) in a loft room. Couple + 2 children. From the moment we arrived at the hotel and even before, the experience was exceptional. Amazing service, every detail is thought of. The staff is courteous and helpful, caring and accessible. The facilities at the hotel are amazing, maintained and of the highest standard. We also ate at the hotel restaurants and enjoyed ourselves very much. We received exceptional service from Marsdan who helped us personally. The entire staff is wow. Thank you for an unforgettable family experience

I stayed at this hotel and really loved it. The area is huge and full of greenery with one of the longest swimming pools in Asia. It goes all around the resort. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, especially in the evening with soft lights and the sound of water. It feels like a full reset. The rooms are big, stylish, with comfortable beds and everything you need for a good rest. Breakfast was amazing. So many choices. Fresh food, live cooking stations with Thai and Western options, fruits and fresh juices. I also liked that they had vegetarian and gluten-free options. The staff was very kind and helpful. They took care of everything quickly and with care. The beach is long and clean with soft sand. Walking by the sea in the morning or evening felt like meditation. If you are looking for peace, nature and high-quality service, JW Marriott Khao Lak is a great choice. It works well for couples or families. Everything feels well thought out and made with care.
