Kalif Hotel

We had a wonderful experience in every aspect during our stay at Kalif Hotel Ayvalık. The overall organization, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel pleased us greatly. The kitchen deserves special mention. The food served was both delicious and carefully prepared. From breakfast to main courses, everything was fresh, well-organized, and quite satisfying. The hygiene and quality demonstrated in the kitchen are truly commendable. The pool area was extremely clean, well-maintained, and enjoyable. It offers a calm and peaceful environment where one can comfortably spend time at any time of day. It was ideal for relaxing and cooling off. Receptionist Mr. Fırat made our stay much more comfortable with his friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and solution-oriented approach. He helped us with everything, patiently and sincerely answering all our questions. It's very clear that he truly values guest satisfaction. We would also like to extend a special thank you to the hotel owner, Mr. Ali. His personal attention to guests, his sincere approach, and the value he places on his business are evident in every detail. Having such a caring and visionary owner makes Kalif Hotel special. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and left feeling peaceful. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, clean, and friendly hotel in Ayvalık. We went as a group, and they charged 4000 TL for two people. The hotel was completely unworthy of its price. I wondered if we were paying that much as a group, and how much it actually cost online. Then I saw that a double room was 3500 TL. We thought it would be cheap because we were going as a group, but we ended up getting ripped off. What a joke! They'd assigned a capricious 15-year-old girl to the reception desk, and on top of that, we had to deal with teenagers. We went to the dining hall for dinner. There were dozens of appetizers, but there were only two main courses and one soup. It's a joke. We have a lot more variety at home. I left the dining hall and went to wash my hands. The dining hall sink, which is a common area and should be kept cleanest, was clogged with a pile of wet napkins, and there was a puddle of water. It was a filthy sight. The rooms were old, and the shower was tiny. If you're a little overweight, you won't be able to fit through it. Okay, everything is tolerable, but if you take 4000 TL from each room that occupies 10-15 rooms from the group that comes in groups and then sell a room for 3500 TL on the internet, nothing is tolerable.
