We stayed at Hotel Kalisti as an adult family for a week in October, past the peak season. All the staff were very friendly from the breakfast restaurant to reception to room service. The rooms are modern and well kept, as are the public areas of the hotel. We had a room with a jacuzzi which got used a lot. The pool area was immaculate and looked recently upgraded with two large pools and a jacuzzi. We did not try the lunch or evening food as we were either out adventuring or it was too cool outside at the hotel to eat (lunch and dinner at pool bar). The hotel is well situated to stroll into central Fira or catch the buses around the island. A supermarket is across the road from the hotel, and small restaurants on the road too. Despite its good location it felt quiet from any noise outside. If you are travelling with little children you will need to take care around the pools. There is no lifeguard or depth markings on the pools. It felt more orientated to adults.

A very nice, quiet hotel located in the heart of the city, close to public transport and shops. You can easily walk all over the city from the hotel. The staff is very professional and discreet. We were celebrating a wedding anniversary, so we thank the hotel for providing us with a room with a beautiful sea view.
