The hotel property is spacious and set in an average location. The service was inconsistent—some staff were friendly, while others were less welcoming. I personally had a few uncomfortable experiences, such as a barista asking for my full name to add me on social media, and lifeguards winking and asking for my name and age. The rooms were not bad—spacious, though a bit outdated and in need of renovation. The beach was beautiful, which was definitely a highlight of the stay, and the concerts nearby the beach were fun. Food options were limited unless you went to the beach area, where you could get kebabs, what I believe was Mexican food, and a crepe station (open roughly from 12:00–16:00). Dinner in the main area had more options but still didn’t cater to everyone’s tastes. What surprised me most was that, despite being an all-inclusive resort, many drinks at the beach were not free. Only beer, cola, Sprite, and water were complimentary, while other drinks—even in the main bars—required payment. Drink options were fairly limited overall, although there was a mojito stand and some alcohol-free slushies. There was a café offering free drinks and cakes, and nearby you could find a Starbucks or a waffle/ice cream stand—but these required payment, and the Starbucks drinks weren’t particularly special compared to what was available at the bars. Overall, I was not very satisfied. Many things that should be included in an all-inclusive stay were not free, and some staff interactions made me feel uncomfortable.
