Thank you for your reply. However, your response is quite surprising and frankly disappointing. The reason we purchased six bento boxes was simply because the portion size of each bento was extremely small. When a single small bento costs ¥900, guests naturally need to purchase several in order to have a proper meal. This is a matter of portion size and value, not about “ordering too much.” More importantly, what concerns me is the tone of your response. As a hotel in the hospitality industry, implying that a guest ordered excessively instead of addressing the concern about portion size and service quality is not a professional way to respond to customer feedback. A more appropriate response would have been to acknowledge the guest’s experience and show willingness to improve. Unfortunately, the current reply feels dismissive and lacks the level of hospitality that guests would normally expect from a hotel. I hope the management will reconsider how customer feedback is handled in the future, as the way complaints are addressed reflects the true standard of a hotel’s service.

The worst experience I ever had! I spent ¥14108 including dinner and breakfast for 2 people one night. Then when I arrived, the hotel gave me ¥1800/person for buying frozen bento in their shop for both dinner and breakfast. I checked if I only booked the room, it was only ¥8600/night for two people. In other words, I paid ¥5400 for meals but I only got ¥3600 coupon. When I tried to talk to the hotel front desk. They said it is none of their business and asked me to call Agoda to deal with it by myself. The front desk guy is very rude and speaks no English. By the way, their bento is super expensive. Just one meal we spent ¥6250 already.
