I arrived around 8:50am on November 12th to use the outpatient bathing service. The front desk staff told me that we would be seated from 9:30am, so I waited in front of the fireplace. Several other groups of guests arrived after me, and it seemed they were also waiting in the lobby until they were seated. As my seating time approached, I headed towards the front desk, where a middle-aged female staff member said, "We'll seat you in order," but a male guest who had arrived after us was given priority. I was puzzled and replied, "I thought we should go first." As my seating time approached, I headed towards the front desk, where a middle-aged female staff member said, "We'll seat you in order," but it was clear that she wanted to seat the male guest who had arrived later first. Even when I told her that we were waiting first, she didn't even look me in the eye and seemed to ignore me. In the end, she simply said, "Another staff member will seat you in order," without any apology, as if tossing aside. In a hotel, which is a hospitality industry, I found it extremely unpleasant to be treated in a way that completely ignored order, explanations, and even basic courtesy. Due to our lack of preparation, I was unable to use the baths, but even before that, even as a member of society, I find it difficult to understand how people behaved like that. In the end, although I was unable to use the baths due to our lack of preparation, the staff who initially helped me were very polite, which made the subsequent response all the more disappointing. I was looking forward to a pleasant stay, so I hope that this will lead to better customer service in the future.

This is great value for money, especially that the other hotels closer to Kappa-bashi was almost twice its price. I would rather walk a few more meters and stay here, which is a more quiet area anyway. The hotel and rooms are old and worn, …

I would rather walk a few more meters and stay here, which is a more quiet area anyway. The hotel and rooms are old and worn, but it is very spacious and definitely sufficient for a one-night stay. The service is also excellent!
