I went to watch the New Year's Ekiden relay race. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, which is convenient. The 4:30 PM first train from Yumoto is empty. It's wooden, but the interior is clean. It's completely different from the Tokaikan and its neighbors, with prominent pillars. It's interesting in a way. The rooms facing the Hayakawa River might be interesting. The main building is pretty simple. It's nice that there's a large hall, but I'm not sure. The annex only has an open-air bath. It's heated, but not circulated. It overflows when you soak. You can stay overnight. The water is nice, smooth, and the surface is beautiful. However, it's on the third floor, so it's a bit uncomfortable. The bathtub is brand new, so it's not very appealing. It's outside the walkway, so it's bad for your heart in the middle of winter. There are no yukatas in the room. They seem to be classified as amenities, so even if you bring shampoo or something, you should still go to the amenities corner. I was very satisfied with the osechi. The saikyoyaki grilled food often uses white miso, which I'm happy about. This was my first time on the Hakone descent. It was impressive...it was on TV. I kept looking at my smartphone. The way it was displayed made me wonder if the impact wasn't being conveyed to this person. I keep blinking, so I don't know.

A wonderful ryokan. A beautiful, clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast. The hotel provides free access to the main ancient onsen building, and we were lucky to be in the onsen without any people. We had a wonderful time and relaxed.
