A fantastic, family-run hotel right on the beach/sea. We wholeheartedly recommend the Katharina Beach Hotel! The warmth and hospitality of the family members (especially Maria) and the hotel staff is truly exceptional. All the rooms are in excellent condition and have been modernized in recent years, including the addition of perfect bathrooms. The location is superb – right on the seafront in the village of Adele Campus. Rethymnon is only 5 km away. This means about 10 minutes by car and about 20 minutes by bus (the bus stop is right in front of the hotel). To be honest, the breakfast and dinner included with half-board aren't particularly outstanding. However, the lunch options are absolutely fantastic! The food is delicious, with generous portions at a very reasonable price! – and enjoying the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea is a real treat! We always book the hotel with breakfast included, often enjoy lunch, and in the evenings visit one of the many excellent tavernas nearby or in Rethymnon. A family-run hotel with delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A beautiful property with comfortable rooms, a great pool, and a ping-pong table. Alternatively, guests can enjoy the beach. Restaurants, bars, and car rentals are all within easy reach, and the town of Rethymnon is just a stone's throw away. We've been very satisfied for many years.
