A truly special place with real old-Balinese charm that has been part of Ubud since the 1980s. While many new hotels have appeared, Kebun Indah has retained an authentic, timeless atmosphere that feels increasingly rare. My room was fantastic — super quiet, set back from the busy Ubud streets, with a balcony overlooking tropical jungle and the pool. Waking up to that view felt like pure bliss. Communication from the booking stage through arrival was impeccable, genuinely five-star in care and responsiveness. The property felt very safe, calm, and deeply relaxing throughout my stay. The staff are all incredibly sweet. One day they even invited me to join their lunch and thoughtfully got takeaway for me — a small gesture that meant a lot. Enjoying Bali coffee on my balcony became the best part of my day. Kebun Indah will always hold a special place in my heart, and I hope it continues to preserve its beautiful spirit for many years to come.

Kebun Indah 🫖Kebun Indah Ubud🫖 📍Lower Ubud (in front of Starbucks) I found a great place to stay. The hostel is 130 meters east of the main road. I walked up a long, narrow path that was almost unsettling. The fresh juice I was given upon check-in was refreshing. The building has a traditional structure. The room was spacious and had a high ceiling. The sheets were clean, and I slept well. Breakfast was one of the highlights. The banana pancakes and Balinese coffee were a fantastic combination. I'll never forget the friendliness of the hostel staff. The location near Ikushima Shoten was also important. I'd like to return to Ubud next year.
