We arrived at Kenwood Inn and Spa after relocating from another hotel that we were disappointed with. Our stay at the Kenwood Inn really made our holiday. All the little touches really make this a luxury stay, from champagne on arrival, the absolute best chocolate chip cookies, nightly wine tastings with local vineyards and port in the lobby every evening, it’s clear the hotel is prioritising guests and the staff were all wonderful. The rooms were great with an extremely comfortable bed. we appreciated having comfy robes, wonderful toiletries, glass bottles of water, plus white noise machines and music which plays on speakers throughout the room and bathroom. The fireplace was lovely and we had a private terrace which we enjoyed. All and all, a lovely stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer

The Kenwood Inn and Spa was everything we hoped it would be. It’s so peaceful and beautiful here. This is not your average hotel, Kenwood is more of a resort feel. It’s like a little European getaway in the middle of wine country. The warming pool (which really feels like a pool sized hot tub) was my absolute favorite. Open 24 hours! I went in everyday, sometimes twice. The complimentary breakfast every morning was delicious and just what you need to start your day. The wine tastings every night were so fun, we never missed one. There were restaurants within 10 minutes and Sonoma Plaza was only a 20 minute drive. I had a massage at the spa with Tina that was incredible. She knew how to find all my sore spots and gave me a very relaxing experience. We loved walking the grounds, checking on the koi fish in the pond, watching the birds and admiring all the beautiful greenery and flowers. Our room had the most beautiful vineyard views and the sunrises and sunsets were incredible. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants more than a regular hotel stay. We would love to come back!

This hotel charges luxury prices and upon arriving I was very impressed with the grounds and property. My husband and I decided to do a weekend getaway and had to cut it short due to safety concerns at this hotel. The door to our room would not stay locked. The hotel still uses regular locks and keys for their rooms rather than key cards. We got to our room and noticed there wasn’t a deadbolt, but only a handle lock. This lock kept popping out anytime someone would even touch the handle. We stayed the first night as it was late and we were tired. I tied up the door handles with the tie from a robe. We woke up the next morning extremely tired as we both hadn’t slept (we never felt safe). We decided to just drive home and I emailed the hotel. I never received an email back, but a call from Julie (Julianna?) from the front desk apologizing and saying she would take care fixing the lock for future guests and only charging us for the night we spent. Well, a week later and I still haven’t heard back regarding refunding my card for the night we didn’t stay. I would exercise caution when booking here. It’s nice, but outdated and their service isn’t great for the prices they charge. Feeling safe and secure in a hotel is a big thing for me - this was an awful experience.
