The location isn't too far from the airport. I arrived around 10 PM, but it was pitch-black, like a haunted house. They said there was a power outage. I waited at the resort entrance for about an hour. This was the first time I'd experienced something like this. There were eight people in the group chatting, so I waited an hour. If there had been only two people, it would have been boring. It felt like a really old resort. The doors were old wooden. They locked it from the inside, but it felt shabby. As soon as I entered the room, a moldy smell hit me. The air conditioner was noisy. I wondered if they'd even cleaned it. Are the bed sheets washed? They weren't fluffy at all; they were damp and dirty. There were even blood stains on the sheets. They clearly hadn't been washed, or they'd only been washed with water, without detergent. I lifted my pillow and a cockroach the size of a cicada appeared. Cobwebs hanging everywhere... The bathroom shower didn't drain properly... As I wrote, it only became a bad story~ㅠ But this is my actual experience... I've compiled the inconveniences I found myself slurring over breakfast. After a rough first night in Bali, this morning, I finally got to see the resort in its true form. It must have been a pretty nice resort back then... The trees are plentiful, and the landscaping is well-maintained, reflecting the passage of time. A satisfying breakfast... A spacious pool... The fine sand of the beach right in front of the resort... The friendly, smiling faces of the resort staff... It would have been even better if the rooms were more sanitary.
