After our stay in 2023, we returned and once again felt right at home for 14 days. We received a warm welcome and were recognized – absolutely fantastic! Sali, the manager, does a really great job, as does the egg man at breakfast. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and the grounds are very well-maintained. Everything was wonderful!

My review of Wanaburee Khao Lak We stayed at Wanaburee Khao Lak as two couples, and overall, the experience was positive, despite a few points to consider. The hotel is located in a pleasant and quiet setting, with beach access, which is great for relaxing. The rooms are really nice: spacious, well-decorated, clean, and comfortable. The bedding is good quality, and the housekeeping is thorough every day. You quickly feel at ease in a relaxing atmosphere. Upon arrival, we didn't get the type of room we had booked, and we had to change rooms during our stay. Our friends encountered the same problem, which was a bit disappointing, especially after booking in advance. The staff did try to find solutions, though. We had booked "Beachfront" villas. It's important to note that they are not directly on the beach, contrary to what some photos might suggest. The location is still pleasant, but there's a distance and vegetation between the villas and the beach. The staff is very welcoming, smiling, and helpful, which is a real plus. The hotel is quiet, and the common areas and pool are well-maintained. Breakfast is decent, though not exceptional. Personally, however, I find the hotel a bit expensive for what it offers, especially in December, when prices are high compared to the services provided. In short, the Wanaburee Khao Lak is a good hotel for a relaxing stay, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant setting, but the value for money can be disappointing during peak season, and you should be careful about the type of room you book.

We had an amazing stay at Wanaburee Resort in Khao Lak and couldn’t recommend it more. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush trees and nature, with the beach right on your doorstep. It feels very peaceful and secluded, yet still conveniently located. The staff were incredible – genuinely kind, attentive, and always willing to help. They really went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was beautiful and very spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice, and the setting was stunning – served in a treehouse-style restaurant which made it feel extra special. The pools were also amazing and never felt overcrowded. The location was perfect for us, with Khao Lak town only a 10-minute tuk tuk ride away, so it was easy to get to restaurants, bars, and shops while still enjoying the calm of the resort. Overall, everything about Wanaburee was beautiful. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Khao Lak.
