The rooms are very large, and the bed is comfortable as expected for Kimpton. 🛏️ I love its downtown location; you hear no noise outside from the room, it's very soundproof. 🤫 They serve an amazing brunch menu; I got hamburgers and steak as a diamond member, which was amazing. 🍔🥩 The bar downstairs is always packed, but you don't hear it from the room, which brings a nice energy when you walk through the lobby. ✨ The staff is amazing. 💖 #Rooms #Bed #Kimpton #Downtown #Noise #Brunch #Hamburgers #Steak #Member #Bar #Energy #Lobby #Staff #ihgvip

Stayed for a work conference and overall, it was a great experience at the Kimpton hotel. They had happy hour everyday from 5-6pm and offered wine. And they always had beer available at the front desk, which was a treat! The room was spacious with ample space for a suitcase and business attire in the closet. The bathroom was nice. I was on the fifth level facing the Main Street which was a little noisy at times but overall was able to sleep fine. The one “downside” was the free WiFi wasn’t very stable to stream tv from devices (the tv doesn’t have a smart function with Netflix loaded like Marriott does) but not a huge deal. They had a great bar with live music one night and location was easily walkable to the French Quarter or Riverwalk. The hotel Jim was pretty good with a fair number of cardio equipment, free weights and a Jim pulley system. It even had two peloton bikes. Would recommend staying here again, depending on price.
