Disappointed as my wife called in to cancel our hotel and something on their end fell through not sending a cancel number and store manager refused to credit a no show fee of $620 (we never stepped into the city or hotel). My reco is to not stay here as I’ve never experienced this in all my years of travel. Manager was unfriendly and not flexible.

The best part of this hotel was the location and that it's pet friendly. This is not a place to go if you want peace and quiet. The court yard is in the center of the hotel, and the walls are very thin. We could hear people on all sides, plus the court yard. It is much more a 'party' scene. It was very off putting for us to walk into such a loud party scene right on the lobby. As my husband and I are Diamond Elite members for IHG, we often find Kimptons to be out least favorite brand. We rarely receive room upgrades, the rooms are small and unequipped. No coffee maker, coffee is only in the lobby during the morning. The bathroom in this particular Kimpton was awkward - the sink was really small, and the shower awkwardly large. The lotion bottle was small and hard to use. The water was usually out in the lobby or the gym, so you had to walk back and forth to get water. It's a cool concept for a younger crowd, not a place to be if you want peace and quiet.
