The hotel is in a very good location. You can walk to a lot of places. Good for people who loves city walk, which is very pleasant to do in Barcelona. The service is top notch. We stayed for six nights. It's in a great location, close to Plaza Catalunya. The staff were all kind and helpful. I found my wallet and couldn't find the police station, so I asked the front desk and they kindly offered to take it to the police station for me, which was very helpful. Watching the fireworks countdown from the rooftop is also a fond memory. The breakfasts were all delicious and the staff were all beautiful, kindly taking our orders and explaining things to us. The room service was also delicious and comfortable. It was my first time staying in a five-star hotel, and it was truly wonderful, as you'd expect from a five-star hotel. I'd love to stay here again if I visit Barcelona again.

This hotel is not a true 5-star experience, and I would not stay here again. The rooms are much smaller than expected, and the bathrooms are disappointing for a luxury property — the shower pressure is weak, and it’s difficult to regulate hot and cold water. Despite booking through Amex Platinum and paying a premium, the value simply wasn’t there. Even the $100 Amex hotel credit they advertise was made unnecessarily complicated to use with so many restrictions that, in the end, I couldn’t fully benefit from it. In addition, cars can’t always pull up to the hotel, so I had to be dropped off a couple of blocks away and walk with my luggage. Service was also unreliable. I scheduled room service the night before for 7:00 AM due to an early tour, and when I called at 7:30, I had to place the order again as if it had never been arranged. For a property advertising itself as 5-star, these details matter — and they were consistently missed. Overall, this feels like a hotel being oversold as luxury, but the experience does not match the price, the promises, or the 5-star rating.
