The hotel is well located within short walking distance to Tenjin underground street and nice restaurants around. The rooms were of good size, however they were not clean and the bed was squeakingly noisy and uncomfortable, and the curtains in the rooms were torn. As much as we understood that it was busy at check in time, the male staff who checked us in was rude. He did not bother to explain the overall cost structure, and when he asked if there's any questions, was impatient to answer any. We had 2 rooms for 3 pax and I have requested for 2 key cards for each room and he was reluctant. Eventually I went to the front desk in the evening and the other lady staff helped after I explained the need to have another key card to the single occupied double room as my teenager occupies it and we would like to avoid the hassle when the card is left in the room when leaving the room. The lady was helpful and empathetic, and saved another star for the service. I would definitely avoid staying here in the future despite having good service and amenities at the other branch in Kumamoto just before checking into this.

The location is incredibly convenient. There are restaurants downstairs and a backstreet with all sorts of different food options. A 24-hour Donki is nearby, making it easy to eat and shop. There's also a bus stop right outside.
