The accommodation offers excellent value for money. The hotel manager was very attentive. I stayed at Hotel ST (a one-minute walk away) instead of Hotel Koniko (I checked in at Hotel Koniko). The room was clean and tidy. Near the hotel, there are several laundromats (including one in the hotel itself), shops, and restaurants. For the price per night, I would stay there again.

Location is superb! The room was clean, there was always hot water in the shower. The room had a kettle and sockets in comfortable locations which is important. The owner was super kind and helpful. She gave me a free upgrade to a bigger room with a window. She told other guests where to find the best food. She helped me book a bus for a much cheaper price than through agencies. She gave me her number and told me that If I need anything to just call her. Overall the stay was really nice and comfortable. But! There's no elevator so be aware of that.

The hotel's female receptionist, her husband, and the room and cleaning staff are all wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. It's located just a three-minute walk from Bui Vien Street, but the accommodation rates are reasonable. I stayed at the S T Hotel (a one-minute walk away) rather than the Koniko Hotel (I checked in at the Koniko Hotel, and the receptionist was the same). The room was clean and tidy. The air conditioning worked properly. There was no TV. The shower had weak water pressure, but the water was lukewarm (not a problem given the high temperatures in Ho Chi Minh City). The room (cleaning) staff were trustworthy. I saw the cleaning staff putting my bed mats up and cleaning them many times. They also run a dry cleaner, so you won't have any trouble with laundry (50,000 VND for 2kg). The staff are so nice that I somehow ended up using this dry cleaner. It's best to avoid bringing expensive clothing. If you run into trouble while traveling, I'm sure the female receptionist will be able to help you. The couple at the reception desk can speak English. I stayed at the ST Hotel for about 12 days, and other than not being able to smoke in the rooms, I had no complaints. Staying at this hotel was a truly happy and relaxing experience. This hotel is suitable for Japanese people. I hope that Japanese people who cause trouble at this hotel will not use it.
