The service was very good. I had my room dine-in, and the local cuisine was delicious. As everyone has said, unless you're a big eater, you'll probably be full. You can use the baths in the main building, which is larger and also has an open-air bath. If you contact the front desk, they will arrange a car pick-up service. You can also walk there. Park your car at the entrance and the staff who greeted you will help you. Just head there directly.

Although it shows signs of age, it is kept clean. The bath is also clean, making it a very satisfying hot spring experience. The beef for dinner was very good. The sashimi in the photo was an extra order, so it's not a regular portion. As is common with Higashiyama Onsen ryokans, the soba noodles served at the end of the meal are stiff and feel like they've been prepared in advance. Soba is a dish that requires a three-way battle, so it feels a bit strange. The entrance to the bathroom in our room was difficult to find. I ended up using the shared bathroom in the hallway until the next morning. Since I booked through JTB, I'm not sure if this room was of a lower grade or if it's the default room for this inn, but the quality of the room was not up to "good." JTB's "Tabi Tabi Bank" savings plan is convenient, but I don't recommend it because the room quality tends to be lower. For some reason, it's not possible to reserve high-quality rooms.
