I really wish I had stayed somewhere else. The first room we were given smelled strongly of smoke, and the window had clearly been left open all day despite the temperature being around 0°C. The room was freezing, and the hotel didn’t have any heater available for us. We also noticed upon checkout that we were not the only ones complaining about room temperature. When we asked to move rooms, the whole situation became unnecessarily stressful. At first we were told we couldn’t move at all, then that we could move only if we split into two single rooms, and finally we were given another double room. There was also an awkward moment where the receptionist repeatedly asked whether our bed had been used. My partner misunderstood the first question, but instead of checking the room themselves, they resold it as-is and then seemed annoyed with us when it turned out the bed had been used. I still don’t understand why the questioning was directed toward us instead of simply inspecting the room. Overall, I was left feeling uncomfortable and as though I’d somehow done something wrong, when all I wanted was a warm, clean room that didn’t smell like smoke - basic things you expect when you pay for a hotel. Wouldn't stay here again.

The room was 3 degrees Celsius upon arrival, and the window was open. The heating wouldn't warm the room. After much effort (€10 for a replacement room?!?!), we finally got a new room, but the very unfriendly receptionist made us feel guilty. I understand it's full, but in such a case, book a replacement room for a guest instead of just throwing them in a freezer (which had probably been smoked in the day before). Never again for us.
