Kuwait Continental Hotel

This review reflects my personal experience. If you have asthma or respiratory allergies, you may want to be cautious when staying here. My experience was uncomfortable. We initially booked two nights through Booking.com and later needed to extend our stay. I intended to extend via Booking; however, I was informed that I had to confirm early in the morning, and availability on Booking was no longer visible. I was then offered a higher rate for direct extension. On the final day, I was advised that extensions could only be done directly through the hotel. The café downstairs charges 1 dinar for a small 350ml bottle of water. On a few occasions, items appeared on the bill that we did not recall ordering, so we had to review the invoice carefully with the staff. There is a scented fragrance used in the hotel corridors. I personally experienced chest irritation from it, and I informed the staff that it affected both me and my mother, but the fragrance continued to be used. The Wi-Fi signal did not reach the room consistently. A router was placed near the room temporarily when I reported the issue, but it was later removed. The furniture appears old, and there was water leakage from the bathroom into the room. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

The hotel and its location are excellent, but the rooms have outdated furniture. We arrived in 2026 and the furniture is from 2005. There needs to be an upgrade to attract guests in terms of both furniture and design.

Honestly, the hotel is beautiful, clean, and tidy, and the room service is fast.
