First of all, the location is a huge plus. The interior was recently remodeled, so it's clean and beautiful!! The rooms aren't too small, and it's a good value for the price. The staff are also friendly.

It's conveniently located near the station. There were many guests dining at the hotel restaurant. There was live music, the atmosphere was mature, and the rooms were spacious and retro.

On my way back from a concert in Osaka, I thought, "That's it! Let's go to Kyoto!" and stopped by this hotel. The last time I'd been back was on a school trip from Tokyo to Kyoto in December, a three-night, four-day trip. Since then, there were so many places I wanted to visit. But, after the concert, I knew I wouldn't have the energy to last, so I searched for a good place close to the station, and this hotel was the one I found. Close to the station. Good value for money. Easy access to all the tourist spots. (The bus terminal is right in front of it.) It was my first time staying here, and I was surprised by the delicious food and the wide selection of dishes at the buffet.👍✨️ The room was spacious and comfortable, allowing me to relax comfortably. Even though my stay was short, I was able to fully enjoy the Kyoto atmosphere. The day we were heading home... We missed the last Shinkansen at 9:30 PM...😅 Now what?...🤔 At the time, there was a cafe in the back of the hotel's first floor that was open late (I'm not sure if it's still there???), so we spent the time planning our trip home until closing time lol. ① Extend my stay...🤔 ② Take the late-night bus home...🤔 The cost-effectiveness wasn't much different. The only thing left to consider was the next day's schedule ⇒ that was cleared. I also wanted to try the late-night bus...so I chose this option. I still remember and appreciate how this hotel allowed me to plan my trip home and how its proximity to the station allowed me to quickly respond to any accidents. In the end, I left the cafe after hours and used the hotel lobby inside Kyoto Station to wait for the late-night bus. I got off the bus for a restroom break and accidentally boarded the bus next to me, the one departing from Osaka. I'm grateful to the driver who called out to me, "Are you sure you're not on the wrong bus?" 🙏 The same company, same model, Osaka and Kyoto buses are next to each other... How dare you get it wrong 😂😂😂
