We stayed at the hotel from November 6th to 20th, 2025, on a half-board basis. The location is very good, close to the beach, the promenade, the port of Benalmaldena, and the bus stops (100m uphill, slightly uphill). Aldi and Lidl supermarkets are also nearby. Buses run to Torremolinos (shopping district), Malaga port (final stop), Benalmaldena Pueblo, and Midas. There are several bars with limited menus in the hotel area, and drink prices are reasonable. The promenade offers a variety of restaurants, including fish, meat, and tapas. The ports of Malaga and Benalmaldena also have plenty of options. The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar with occasional live music and a fantastic view from the 10th floor. Our room was clean and well-maintained, with air conditioning and a large refrigerator. For breakfast, there's everything from savory to sweet, including freshly made fried eggs and omelets. Of course, the breakfast menu is fairly consistent. For dinner, there's a good selection of fish, meat, and vegetarian options. The drink prices in the evening are also reasonable. All the staff are always friendly and approachable, doing their jobs well. It's a 3-star hotel, so don't forget that; we enjoyed our stay.

We are a family from Galicia and stayed the first week of January, our first time in the province of Malaga. We chose the Hotel La Barracuda in Torremolinos and it was absolutely the right choice. The staff were exceptional; from the moment we arrived, they treated us like family, providing all the information and assistance we needed. The breakfast buffet and dinner were plentiful, high-quality, homemade, varied, and delicious. Almost every night after dinner, they have entertainment in the café. On the tenth floor, the hotel has a rooftop terrace and café with spectacular views, where you can enjoy a drink in complete comfort. The pool area is very pleasant, with access to the promenade and the beach, where there are plenty of restaurants. The rooms are spacious and renovated. Thank you, thank you, and thank you to everyone, and especially to Jose, Mateo, Patricia, Antonio, Julio, David, and Monica... We felt right at home.

Had a lovely time at the Hotel for a Christmas Break. Its a nice hotel. The rooms are a good size and we're spotlessly clean. Plenty of room to hang up your clothes and store other items. The room has a full size fridge. The staff were all really nice from the reception to dining room to the cleaning staff. The food was of a decent quality and plenty of choice. The Christmas Day Gala Dinner was excellent and the staff worked really hard to make it enjoyable. It was a well organised event. Would recommend this hotel.
