If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation. This "B&B" was a complete nightmare. As soon as we entered, we were faced with mouse droppings under the kitchen sink and in the corners of the cabinets. A disgusting and totally unacceptable situation. We immediately notified the owner, expecting at least a modicum of concern or a solution. His response? "We're in the countryside, and you can't keep up with everything." So, according to him, staying in a rural area means having to put up with dirt, a total lack of hygiene, and a shameful level of neglect. As if that weren't enough, in the kitchen we found a freezer full of expired food, opened and leftover from other guests, with a nauseating odor. Dirt was everywhere, from the floors to the cabinets, and even the pots and pans hadn't been washed properly: greasy, with food residue, and an appearance that put off any desire to use them. Being in the countryside is no excuse for running a B&B in disastrously hygienic conditions. There are plenty of rural establishments that manage to maintain a decent level of cleanliness and hospitality, because their owners clearly have respect for their guests. If you can't "keep up with everything," perhaps you should find another job instead of charging people to sleep among dirt, rats, and spoiled food. If you want to ruin your stay and risk bringing home some disease, this is the place. Otherwise, avoid it like the plague.
