A truly awful hotel, a stew of cheap meat, the only good thing about it being the friendly reception staff, the foul smells in the elevator toilets and on the beach, balcony doors that wouldn't open and screen doors with stripped rubber, uncomfortable pillows and covers, shower knobs that wouldn't open, ripped flooring, cold food, tasteless tea, a beach worse than a public beach, when we sat on the concrete floor they told us it belonged to the residence. It was a featureless place, as if it were a magnificent beach and resort, even the seating area in front of the sea was given to the residence, there were no railings on the slope down to the beach, no common areas, just a tiny pool. This is what a holiday is; other hotels claimed they didn't have space, dirty toilets and taps, dusty rooms, crummy beach showers, rusted steps with missing nails, the hallway light went off after 10 seconds, a real shame. I've stayed in a lot of cheap accommodations in my life, this was the worst, a complete waste of money. They misused Wyndham's name, and even more hilariously, they misspelled Wyndham's name at the hotel entrance.

I've been torn between writing for a long time. But I wanted to share my experiences. We stayed at this hotel from September 10th to 13th. We were completely dissatisfied and left unhappy. Our intention was to stay from September 7th to 13th. It's a good thing it was full, but we couldn't find a place. The name was the reason we chose this hotel. When we read the reviews when booking our vacation, we thought, "How bad could it be?" We were wrong. Guests didn't even write enough. There were views that shouldn't have been under the Wyndham umbrella and were unbecoming. The brand perception made us make the wrong decision. If this hotel can't handle the all-inclusive system, it should have either continued with the bed and breakfast concept or maintained its quality by not offering seasonal discounts. Its aim wasn't just to sell rooms, but to sell experiences and beautiful memories, to make a difference. The breakfast variety was adequate, but the quality was completely lacking. That cheese and olives are much better quality than even the cheapest supermarket chains. Words can't describe the lunch. What's that "snack" with so much carbs that it's worth throwing away. We were expected to eat these with plastic forks, knives, spoons, and glasses. Luckily, we had soup, shepherd's salad, watermelon, and yogurt, so we managed to survive. Okay, so you sell Turkish coffee, so why don't you have a tea maker? Apparently, it went in for repairs but never arrived. The only thing left was the tea maker in the restaurant, which was enough to serve all the hotel guests—if that's what you call tea. Dinner was also a decently diverse menu (in my opinion), with a few appetizers, soup, a single main course, a few desserts, salad ingredients, and fruit. Fortunately, there were porcelain plates and metal spoons and knives for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were unhappy, tired, and sloppy. There was absolutely no hygiene. I asked for ice. When the ice bucket ran out, the attendant threw the bag of ice on the floor, supposedly to separate the ice, and then placed it on the counter. He scooped the ice into the bucket with his bare hands. When he was adding ice to my glass, he used another glass from the ice bucket to add ice to my glass, his hands touching the ice. The bar staff didn't know how to make cocktails either. The fruit juices for the cocktail were missing and were never refilled. I shouldn't have missed this offer: I ordered a cocktail, and it contained pineapple juice. The staff member suggested, "Can I give you lemon juice instead?" It was interesting that he thought they were similar. (Although, as is the case everywhere, none of the drinks were real; they were flavored.) I can't even begin to describe how dirty the sunbed cushions were on the beach. Even public beaches are tidier and cleaner. It's impossible to find drinks on the beach. You have to get them from the pool area and walk up all those stairs and paths in the heat. They could have at least installed a water cooler there. Now, let's talk about the public relations manager, who has no business interacting with the public and is just a show-stopper. When I and other guests tried to explain the problems a couple of times, she didn't even make eye contact with me throughout my stay, practically playing a cornerman to avoid encountering me. I think she should truly engage with the public, living up to her position. If she doesn't want to hear complaints and can't find solutions, why ask, "Are you satisfied?" Of course, it's not all complaints. By the way, I owe my thanks to Buse Hanım at the reception desk and her supervisor, Bengül Hanım. They're doing the right thing in their positions. I wish them all the best. I wanted to write this because everyone's time and money are valuable.
