I apologize in advance, but if this helps the hotel improve and move up in the reviews, I have no choice but to share our experience. The mattress was too soft. Room number 5 was far too small for two people 😱 We had a terrible night in that tiny bed. Then there was the carpeted staircase with no elevator, which was inconvenient with luggage. It's also unpleasant to hear everything, especially the noise from the room above, as the floor creaks a lot. In the morning, breakfast is served until 10:00 AM, but we arrived a little before 9:00 AM and it was practically empty. The pastries were overcooked, and there wasn't much choice for a 4-star hotel. The worst part was the coffee machine. It's all a real shame because the hotel is well-located and, despite these issues, has some charm, but many improvements are needed.

The room was very good, quite clean and quiet. However, the location and especially the breakfast were dark and not up to 4-star standards…

The room was pleasant and comfortable. The evening receptionist was also excellent; she was professional and friendly. However, the morning reception was disastrous. At 9:50 a.m. (breakfast was advertised as being served until 10:00 a.m.), we simply asked if it was still possible to have breakfast served in our room. The response was a flat refusal. The reason given was that she was alone, had already put everything away, and "had other things to do." When I asked if this meant we wouldn't be having breakfast, the curt reply was: "Well, no, it's 9:51 a.m." Service is officially until 10:00 a.m., but apparently 9:51 a.m. is already considered heresy. The tone was unpleasant, there was a complete lack of customer service, and no attempt was made to find a solution. It's a shame that one person was enough to ruin the experience of an establishment that, otherwise, would have deserved a much better review. Update: After the breakfast incident this morning, the situation worsened at checkout. Checkout was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. At 11:33 a.m., as we were finishing gathering our belongings and about to head downstairs in two minutes, the receptionist called us to inform us that she would be charging us for a late checkout. So I went downstairs to calmly explain the situation. The discussion immediately escalated: she raised her voice, became aggressive, and shouted at the reception desk. The scene unfolded in front of the housekeeping staff and another guest, who even tried to intervene to defuse the situation. The receptionist then told me she finished at 3 p.m. and that if I wanted to wait for her "to settle our differences," that was no problem. This type of behavior is unacceptable in a hotel. Disagreements can be handled professionally. Shouting, threats, and aggression toward guests are not. Such an attitude seriously damages the hotel's reputation.
