I stayed here during an event with Sugitani (the baseball player). The staff were all energetic and friendly, which was great. The room was clean and had a nice, Western-style mountain lodge feel. The food was excellent, both in terms of ingredients and preparation, which I think was partly due to the event. The bath was great, as you'd expect from Kyoritsu.

Overall, it was a very nice place to stay! The room had a lovely view of beautiful white trees and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The best part was the private baths! There are three private baths, and you can use them if they're available. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to use them because there were so many guests, but there was always one available no matter what time we went! All three were available even at 4 PM in the morning. The private bath at the very back is fantastic, with two bathtubs! The public bath is pretty average. The outdoor bath was nice. There's a reclining bath. There are services offered at specific times. Drinks, snacks, and ramen are available at set times, so be sure to check the schedule. Now, for the important part: the food. The French cuisine was quite casual. It was just okay! Honestly, I don't remember anything other than the main meat dish. Since it's a casual French restaurant where you can go in your loungewear, you shouldn't have high expectations. The breakfast buffet was also reliably tasty! I highly recommend the raclette cheese. The shop is open 24 hours and sells a wide variety of snacks, sweets, alcohol, juice, and souvenirs. The staff were all very kind, making for a wonderful stay. Oh, and I almost forgot the best thing: There are very few tourists! There are many calm, elderly people, and very few noisy tourists! Tourists are everywhere these days, aren't they?
