H10 Costa Mogán Hotel

The hotel is in a great location, in a bay protected from the wind, where you can sunbathe around the pool even in February, and those who can stand the cooler water (like the English or Scandinavian guests 😉) can swim. (The water was supposed to be 24 degrees, but I was cold in it. It was good to swim.) It is separated from the sea by a card-operated garden gate and a narrow walkway, which is very practical. Every part of the hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff was very kind, helpful and polite. Despite the full house, we never found it crowded anywhere, and the size is ideal. The breakfast - although it was the same every day - did not get boring in 1 week, its quality and selection were also fine. The Catalan sparkling wine (cava) offer is also worth mentioning. The evening outdoor music and dance program was especially entertaining, although it is worth knowing that with our age between 50-56, we were in the younger group. The hotel is very good in terms of price/value! I think it is an ideal place to relax and hike! Needs improvement: The terrace of the ground floor rooms (e.g. rooms 026-030) is separated from the pool bar by a few meters, so it lacks any intimacy. In addition, the hotel's mechanical engineering is located directly behind the corridor next to the bedroom, which makes it very noisy - especially at night - and makes it difficult to sleep peacefully. We were first given a room here, but the price was not better than other similar types available on Booking. It would definitely be advisable to indicate the features of these rooms and treat them separately, offering them cheaper! However, upon our request, they changed them the next day. The 4032 miden met our needs. We thank you very much for that! The wifi was often annoyingly slow, but fortunately we did not have to work. Most of the hotel's guests used all-inclusive, which has both advantages and disadvantages. We had a breakfast price because we did a lot of hiking and wanted to try other restaurants. However, one evening we paid for the buffet dinner, which was a disappointment. It is true that the price of 25 euros/person is very reasonable, but in return neither the selection nor the quality was convincing. It brought the stereotype of tasteless, unsalted, overcooked vegetables English cuisine (sorry 😊). We are better off with the local cuisine restaurants nearby. But I repeat: The hotel is very good value for money! And the staff is brilliant!

The resort is wonderful! The staff is super friendly; we have absolutely no complaints about any department. The reception staff were fantastic! The food is varied and very, very good. Everything is very clean. The beds are super comfortable. The only slightly negative thing was the mango daiquiri.

This hotel is quite isolated. Views of the sea are spectacular and there's a minimal slightly sandy beach and a few low key restaurants and bars around. There's a Spar and an Itish bar tucked away (if you can find it). You can walk for a mile along the coast to the adjacent cove & beach where there's a good choice of nightlife, restaurants and bars. I wouldn't like to do this at night though as it involves scrambling across an area of rocks near the sea in total darkness.. The hotel and rooms are clean. I am staying in a 'superior junior suite'. Its got excellent sea views. The room itself is quite basic. You get next to zero perks in the room, just a fridge & water when you first arrive. Food is served in a typical buffet restaurant. Food quality is passable. Evening meals are basic, and on half board you do not even get any drinks included. Breakfasts are also minimally acceptable. Staff are pleasant enough, with no real interaction with the guests. Plenty of sunbeds (early March 2026) and you can't reserve them. Evening entertainment is loud but fairly decent, finishing around 10 to 10:30. I'd recommend coming here if you want a quiet week away from it all relaxing; there's literally nothing else to do.
