Lagom Apartment & Hotel

I will start with the positive: 1. Excellent location 2. Helpful front-desk staff who help to resolve some issues 3. Cute Cat Now on the negative side... so many issues. Not sure how the hotel has such good reviews it is very suspicious. The main one is the cleanliness. We saw three different rooms and all had issues with cleanliness, especially the bathroom in all. 1. Unclean. Bathrooms are particularly poorly maintained. However the bed/bedroom area is clean. The walls are grimey. A lot of hair left around. It doesnt give a good feeling when you go into an apartment and see someone elses hair all around. 2. Noise. Every morning we were woken up before sunrise as they keep cockerels across the road. They are so noisy, for hours, we became sleep deprived. The hotel should provide earplugs and warn guests of this. Also a lot of building works are very loud throughout the day. 3. Smell. We stayed in two different rooms. All had a very bad drain smell in the bathroom after about a day to the point where we brushed our teeth in the kitchen to avoid the smell. 4. Price - Too high for what you get. The facilities are poorly maintained. For example, there is a washing machine but the drying rack to dry the clothes is rusty (both rooms), so we got rust stains on our clothes and we had to take them to a laundry place anyway. Toilet spray pipes leaking in the bathroom in both rooms. A lot of mildew/mould in the bathroom. Filthy bathroom sink. Hair ball in the shower drain. Bad smell on the couch. 5. It is not a homestay. It is a block of apartments run as a hotel. There is no room cleaning, you have to wash all dishes when checking out or they charge you a fee even though you can stay in a five star boutique hotel in Da Nang for the same price with room service, daily cleaning, fresh towel, and clean facilities.

I had a fantastic 2-week stay at this property. The property is in a quiet alley yet within walking distance of beaches, restaurants, and mini-marts, so it's away from the noise yet super conveniently located. The studio I stayed in was equipped with everything I like, including a small kitchenette, a fridge, a Smart TV, and fast Wi-Fi. Special mention to the team - everyone working here is incredibly friendly, always willing to help, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. Amazing team! I would surely rebook on my next trip.

Perfect stay. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to heaps of restaurants, shops, cafes, bars, and the beach. Staff were friendly enough. Pool looked nice but unfortunately the weather wasn’t great during our stay. Would love to come back and stay longer.
