Lagoon attitude is the best hotel in mauritius for me n my family the hotel is 5*****+, all staff is very welcoming and friendly thanks everyone. All the managers n chef also is very helpful and professional Thank to all of you. It's a great pleasure to see all of you again.

The hotel is definitely worth recommending. Its location in the northern part of the island means it can be windy, which is a big plus when temperatures are high. The pools are truly excellent, the food is delicious and decent, and the room (ours had a partial ocean view) was excellent: clean and regularly and thoroughly cleaned – although the bathroom wasn't the best. It's worth remembering, however, that this isn't a 5-star hotel, so minor imperfections may occur – both in the rooms and the surrounding area. These are acceptable things, but the most noticeable drawbacks were the lack of professionalism of some of the staff (they lack more training) and the lack of any interest in guest feedback at the end of their stay – no one asked for their impressions or any comments. Below are a few specific examples that influenced our final rating: All-inclusive system The system was quite unclear – despite explanations, it was difficult to navigate. It felt like the rules were discretionary. There were reports that the all-inclusive package included the first nine drinks, with subsequent drinks being charged extra, but in practice, it was difficult to determine how this actually worked. The best example was the pool bar, where even a regular Aperol had to be paid extra, despite having purchased the "full" option. We never quite understood the exact nature of this system. For comparison, we were at a different hotel the following week and had no such issues. Service at the Juice Bar by the Beach Juices were also charged extra in the all-inclusive package. Unfortunately, the staff (the lady working there) seemed reluctant to work with guests – she often reacted with reluctance, was absent, informed about the lack of fruit during the day, or refused service due to the lunch break. Of course, she was entitled to a break, but the way she communicated this left much to be desired. She gave the impression of being dissatisfied with her job, which unfortunately affected the atmosphere and overall feel of the place (although the pineapple juice was delicious!). Finally, we'd like to express our appreciation for the staff at breakfast and dinner, especially Ms. Ratee (I hope we spelled her name correctly) – an extremely kind, helpful, and approachable person whose attitude significantly enhanced the comfort of our stay. In summary: the hotel is excellent in terms of location, facilities, and room standard. Despite a few shortcomings, we have positive memories of our stay and can recommend it.
