A spectacular spot in the southeast of Mahé Island, facing the beautiful Anse Royale beach (although what beach isn't beautiful in the Seychelles?). I highly recommend this place for a family getaway and a peaceful life in paradise with your loved ones. Special mention goes to the staff, like Andrew, the pool bar waiter, who was not only attentive and cheerful but also helped my family and me experience a more local side of the island, away from the tourist hotspots and overpriced spots. We also appreciated the joy of running into Abdu at meals; among the many languages he spoke was Spanish. As he would say, hakuna matata. I also want to mention the great work of Gina, one of the people who organized and guided the excursions through the hotel agency. We got along very well with her, and she helped us understand the beautiful island of Mahé (and the surrounding islands), the culture, and the warmth of its people. A strong recommendation I would make to anyone who can go is to rent a car during your stay. While this place is beautiful, it's quite far from other places of interest that I don't recommend missing. I also recommend this because of the high taxi fares there and the ease of renting a car (you can ask about availability at the hotel). The Seychelles has much more to offer than one might think.

Christmas at Laïla, a Tribute Portfolio Resort was nothing short of magical ✨🎄 From the moment we arrived, the vibe was effortless, stylish, and perfectly festive — truly a manicure-perfect Christmas holiday escape. The location couldn’t be more convenient: the beach is literally right across the street, making sunrise swims and sunset strolls way too easy 🌊☀️ A huge highlight of our stay was Nicholas, the General Manager, who was incredibly attentive and genuinely cared about making our experience special. That level of leadership and warmth really shows throughout the property — a true standout. And let’s talk about the pool bar 🍹 — Andrew is hands-down the best bartender you could ask for. Friendly, fun, intuitive, and always serving the perfect drink with a smile. Local flavor, great energy, and unforgettable service. Relaxed, chic, festive, and full of heart — Laïla made our Christmas feel both special and effortless. Already dreaming of the next visit ✨🌴🎅
