Lake Country Inn

Called to reserve a room and they said come on over to the hotel. The price magically jumped up when I got there. But the real problem is how ungodly loud the rooms are. There’s a busy highway right next to the window. I will never stay here again.

Sukvinder, Amar and the rest of the family were genuinely kind and courteous. They possess an understanding of customer service that is almost non-existant these days. I came in real late on a Friday night, I gave them a 4 hour heard-up call if they had a room, and I showed up after 5 hours and they held the room for me no questions asked. I originally took the King size room because it doesn't face the highway, because I didn't know how loud the highway would be (its not loud at all), and in the end I changed my mind about the King size room and changed to for the Queen room. After doing his job and making sure that I hadn't disturbed the room/bed etc.., Amar graciously and generously helped me move my numerous bags from one room to the other. I came back to the front desk several times throughout the late evening and asked ALOT of questions and he answered them kindly and courteously, without jugement. This family really cares about their business, which is a motel, not a hotel, and so expect standard motel amenities. I bring my own shampoo, conditioner, towels and bedding because I'm autistic and just how I roll. Also its more environmentally friendly. The family dog, who I believe belongs to their special needs daughter is a hypoallergenic Shih Tzu. For the price, the customer service, and the proximity to some pretty good food thats open late, I will happily stay there again. 10 out of 10 recommend. Thank you Sukvinder, Amar and the girls!
