Appalling event service and unreliable. I strongly advise against using this establishment for private events. Despite contacting them as early as October 2025 and scheduling an in-person meeting in November for my birthday, which was planned for June 2026, the experience was a series of professional errors. I had to contact the team repeatedly just to get a simple quote. After weeks of waiting and silence, I finally learned that the date had been given to someone else without even informing me or offering me priority booking. This customer service is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The lack of responsiveness and consideration is blatant. If you are looking for a trustworthy partner for an important event, look elsewhere: there is no follow-up, and promises are worthless. I am very disappointed by this lack of professionalism.

The Lake Geneva Hotel has some strong advantages. The location is excellent — close to the lake, close to the train station, and with convenient parking. The rooms are modern and clean, and the restaurant is good. Breakfast was also enjoyable. However, the main issue is comfort at night. The room temperature was around 26°C, and even with the window open it only dropped to about 24°C. The duvet was far too heavy, and there was no effective way to regulate the temperature. Sleeping comfortably was nearly impossible — especially when paying around CHF 200 per night. Opening the window to cool the room creates another problem: you can clearly hear airplanes landing and trains passing every few minutes. So you are left choosing between overheating or noise. Neither option makes for a good night’s sleep. In the end, the hotel’s biggest strength is its location and restaurant. But when sleep quality is compromised, it becomes hard to justify the price. I’m not sure I would return for an overnight stay unless the temperature and insulation issues are improved — even something as simple as providing lighter duvets would already help.
