Probably best hotel I’ve stayed in so rooms are clean so is the linen , parking lot has a lot of space definitely will be staying here again

Every staff member we’ve interacted with has been exceptional. Friendly, helpful, accommodating. Truly above and beyond what you expect from a hotel. One small but much-appreciated touch is the welcome bag you receive at check-in. It always includes two bottles of water and a snack, and it’s the perfect little “we’re glad you’re here” gesture, especially after a long drive. We genuinely look forward to it every visit. The rooms could use some updates, not in a “dated” way, but more in a general maintenance sense. We’ve stayed in several rooms over multiple medical trips, and a few issues seem consistent: blinds broken in the same spots (obviously from guests mishandling them), a cracked tile in front of the toilet, tubs that don’t hold water well, and only one room where the mood lighting actually worked. We only had one experience with an unclean room, and it was clearly an oversight rather than poor housekeeping. Staff handled it immediately and professionally, switching us to a nearby room without any hassle. The parking lot has a few rough areas, but once you learn where not to park, it’s manageable. Despite the maintenance quirks, the rooms themselves are very comfortable, with modern décor and all the usual amenities. The gym is small but perfect for getting some movement in. The pool has been closed for maintenance for a few months, but the hotel provides access to a larger local gym to make up for it. Hopefully the pool reopens soon because the space looks lovely. Breakfast is exactly what a complimentary hotel breakfast should be. Juice, coffee, oatmeal, cereals, baked goods like muffins and bagels, toast, waffles with toppings, plus daily hot options like eggs, breakfast meat, and potatoes. We love the University of Michigan vibe, especially being right off North Campus. The location is incredibly convenient, just off US-23 and only a few miles from University Hospital with minimal traffic. They also partner with U of M to accommodate out-of-town patients, which has been incredibly helpful for us. We’ll continue to stay here and look forward to seeing the property continue to update and grow.

I stayed here for 2 nights during this most recent snow storm since it is so close to my work and couldn't beat the price. The service was amazing and the room was very clean and bed was super comfortable! There was a little issue with my room on night 2 and they upgraded me to a new room with no issues. Will Definitely be staying here again.
