We spent two nights at the hotel. We loved everything: location, services, and staff. Breakfast was a 10 out of 10! The spa is a bit small and should have a smaller capacity, but we still enjoyed it. They provide a swim cap and flip-flops if you don't bring your own, as well as towels and water. You have to go outside the hotel to the garden to get to the spa, and walking back with wet hair in a bathrobe was a little uncomfortable, but refreshing after the sauna. I would have preferred direct access from the hotel to the beach; that's what I missed. But overall, it deserves its 5 stars. The room was spacious, and the Bulgari bath products were a nice touch.

With its five-star touches, it has everything you need, but it's very cramped, at least in the standard room. You can't fit in the bathtub, and I'm 1.81 meters tall—either legs or torso. The shower is barely adequate, not to say tiny. The lack of direct access to the sea or a seafront promenade is, to say the least, odd. Having to walk outside, under the roof, to get from the hotel to the spa is not what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. The spa's capacity should be halved so you could actually enjoy the 90 minutes for €25. You'll spend half your time looking for a jet or an opening in the sauna filled with canned sardines. The breakfast is excellent, though, worth every euro, as are the Bulgari products. Turndown service is limited to two Lindor chocolates, which is the bare minimum for a five-star hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet, at least. The reception staff couldn't or wouldn't offer a late check-out on a Monday, and after a 1 p.m. head massage, we had to eat with oily hair and drive 388 km to shower at home. A bittersweet experience with this hotel.
