I booked a room for €79 with a date error on my part. I sent a message to change the date and, without waiting, booked another room for the correct date for €173 (yes, almost €100 more, not imagining my mistake would be overlooked!). So I ended up paying €252 for one night. While this might be legally defensible, it's a terrible business practice. For a rather mediocre room, especially noisy on the corridor side, it's expensive and unacceptable: I don't recommend it!

The hotel has an excellent location – just about 100 meters from the Moulin Rouge, and its name pleasantly evokes French bohemia. Unfortunately, that's where the list of advantages ends. The entire hotel smells musty and dusty. The rooms are only superficially clean. The bathroom looks very nice at first glance, but a closer look reveals that the showerhead rubber is moldy, and the shower head is leaking water sideways. Breakfast is also disappointing. If I were in the US, I'd probably consider it quite good, but in Europe – especially Paris – expectations are higher. The delivery of a freshly baked croissant made from frozen dough is truly surprising, especially since there are so many bakeries in the area. A fresh croissant with good coffee and juice would have been a perfect start to the day. Instead, we get a few mediocre "delicacies": standard jams and honey, very poor-quality ham and cheese, and tasteless tomatoes. The only positive was the regular hard-boiled eggs. Regarding the service, there was a bit of confusion. We received an email asking if we wanted to extend our check-in time until 3 PM – we agreed, even though we hadn't planned on it beforehand. However, upon arrival, the receptionist started to sniffle, saying they didn't know what the occupancy rate would be and that the maximum check-in time would be 1 PM. I understand such situations, but since the hotel sent the email with the offer, they created a bit of a problem. In summary: for a short trip and at a good price, this hotel is worth considering due to its excellent location. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.
