The cleanes of the room was very good, but I do have som objections to the hotel as a hole: The wifi requires a code despite the hotel stating that you just log in. You must pay close attention to making sure that the room door closes properly it isn't given. The light on the fire escape only came on every 2nd/3rd floor, so you had to feel your way down, I'm glad I didn't have to do that during a fire. Similarly, the fire door to the street was difficult to open.

Please note: this review reflects only my experience of a last-minute, one-night booking. The hotel is generally good, I think, but my experience was disappointing. I would summarize it as good value for money for a room I got for €115, but not the enjoyable experience you find in most 4-star hotels or, more consistently, in 5-star hotels. The reception staff contributes to the quality of a stay, yes, even for a last-minute booking. Here, I felt like I was at a motorway service station (no manner or "style," not even an offer of breakfast or directions to the elevators. Arriving around 4 pm, I seemed to be disturbing their break since the lobby was empty). Then came the room selection: I understand that a city hotel might have rooms with a rear view on the lower floors. I must have encountered similar views in Ibis hotels a long time ago while traveling across France. For a hotel with this name and these stars, on a rainy February day, it's a bit of a letdown. Of course, for me, it was primarily about getting a good night's sleep, and the price was reasonable. What I wanted to point out is a marketing error: the hotel couldn't have had a high occupancy rate that day, and other rooms with better orientation and perhaps fresher decor must have been available. The room selection, therefore, reflects the price. Yes, but as a hotel guest, would I return after this experience? There are three or four comparable hotels within a small area, and the Manos isn't that far away. I doubt it. However, the room service was decent, and the check-out from the reception staff, who were more in line with the hotel's ambitions, was perfect. The hotel certainly has potential. However, if I may, I would advise you to implement a more rigorous selection and training process for your reception staff and to only allocate rooms at the rear of the first floor when absolutely necessary. Otherwise, the experience risks being a one-off, rather than a return visit. Thank you again to the receptionist this Saturday morning, who seemed perfectly suited to her role and whose professionalism and courtesy allowed me to leave the hotel in a good mood, rather than with the disappointment I've described here. I hope this will help improve the quality of your hotel or simply share my experience with you.
