Where to begin? - Upon arrival, the hotel seemed nice and charming. The welcome was cordial and professional. However, our enthusiasm quickly waned when we entered the corridor leading to the rooms, where we noticed numerous scratches on the walls, holes, cobwebs, and a very unsettling elevator noise. - In the room, the first thing we noticed was the carpet, which was covered in stains absolutely everywhere (a carpet cleaning wouldn't be unreasonable...). There was no mini-fridge in the room. There was no safe in the room. There were no extra blankets available in the room. The soundproofing was terrible; we could hear the neighbors in the room above talking and people walking in the corridor. We couldn't close the shutters because they were broken. - The bedding is very hard; it's a matter of personal preference. - The bathroom: the paint is peeling in several places, the grout hasn't been cleaned, the toilet bowl has a suspicious color, the shower glass still has limescale stains, and the tissue box is practically hanging off. - The sauna is terrifying! It's completely isolated on the second floor in a room that also houses the gym (if you can even call it that; there's only a treadmill and an elliptical machine). There's no changing room (reception told us to change in the toilets on the landing, so not in the same room as the sauna. There are no bathrobes, no slippers, and no shower! So you walk around in your swimsuit or towel in the freezing cold hallway). The room is in a deplorable state: peeling paint, an unmaintained radiator, suspicious stains on the ceiling, and cobwebs. For our safety, we decided not to use the sauna, even though we specifically booked it as part of our package. - Breakfast was mediocre. There were no fresh products, despite this being highlighted in the advertisement (frozen pastries, stale fruit, and soggy bread). The trays offering scrambled eggs and savory items were empty at 9:00 AM. No one in the restaurant or at reception was there to refill the trays. The fruit juices weren't fresh. There were exposed electrical wires in the room, and the coffee machine was covered in limescale. - The exterior is also poorly maintained, with broken garden hoses lying on the ground (in January, with temperatures of -3°C), chairs with holes, and so on. For the price of the room, it's absolutely not worth 4 stars! Honestly, it felt more like a nursing home...
