I had a very unpleasant experience that significantly affected my stay. Despite all the windows and the door being fully closed, a wasp somehow got into the room. I only realized it when I suddenly felt a sharp sting. It turned out I had been bitten by a wasp inside what I believed was a sealed and safe environment. This was both painful and alarming. The incident made me question how well the room was inspected and maintained. Regardless of how it happened, guests should not have to deal with wasp bites indoors. I would strongly recommend that the hotel thoroughly checks their window seals / air vents to prevent this from happening to other guests.

Only the kindness of some staff members and a very good massage at the spa will remain positive memories of my stay. My suitcase was left wandering around the hotel lobby all day, even though it should have been stored in the luggage room. The bill didn't match the amount paid (1400 rupees more). In a week, management didn't even acknowledge my verbal and written requests for an explanation. It's a shame for this establishment, which enjoys a very good location in Port Louis. The low occupancy rate clearly indicates a problem!

Regarding the SUFFREN restaurant: It is accessible via a boat shuttle transfer from the Caudan parking lot. This restaurant offers a moment of calm, away from the noisy tourist crowds of Port Louis. Attentive and very professional service, excellent cuisine, and moderate prices. It's worth noting, as this is rather rare, that after a short wait for the main course, the head waiter offered us complimentary desserts. Therefore, a highly recommended address in Port Louis.
