Booked my first stay here with a friend on 29 Dec 2025. But despite being sceptical about the mix reviews, i think it turned out pretty well. - we were welcomed with a friendly male staff who helped us checked in. And the hotel manager came to the counter a few mins later. She too was friendly. Sorry should have asked for their names :p - room with big window and spacious bathroom. We like that the room was bright. Upon entering our room after checked in, we found that it was not cleaned up yet so we head down to inform the staff and said we are ok to wait. They quickly sorted this out and apologised a few times. Also explained that it was due to short of staff during this time of the year and we accepted that as it wasnt a big issue to us. Room has a bit of smoky smell initially and aircond was not cold. We were informed that they are cleaning up the aircond compressors and should have it all cleared in 1-2 hours. The technical staff and manager also made sure our aircond setting was right and last check on the room cleanliness. The temperature cooled the room in an hour or so and all was good. Oh and we love The bed and pillows! Just the right softness and we slept really well. Towels were clean ( not as i read in some of the reviews tho) . However, do note that they dont provide toothbrush. Overall the price is right for a budget hotel like this. As for location, its about 15-20 mins drive to city. There's mCdonalds just a 3 mins walk outside. Easy parking just outside the hotel and its free . Maybe just dont expect too much in the wifi signal. We used our own data anyway.
