Mixed experience. The staff was very pleasant, courteous, and accommodating. However, I wish I had known that the body wrap was not recommended for people who weren't in optimal health. Suffering from slightly low blood pressure, the heat from the treatment was much too intense for me: I fainted and felt unwell for a good four hours with severe chest pain and heaviness; we almost had to call emergency services. My partner told me that he also felt more exhausted than refreshed after the treatment. I understand that some treatments push the body's limits to eliminate toxins or enhance absorption afterward, however, I was primarily looking for a relaxing treatment rather than a "purging" one, and it could have been dangerous. I wish I had been warned that this treatment isn't suitable for everyone. Second negative point: the massages (I had a Balinese massage and my partner had a Lomi Lomi) were very superficial, for both of us. The masseuses were very friendly, cordial, and pleasant, but for the price of the treatment, we expected at least some tension relief. We didn't feel like we were getting a massage at all; not a single deep or effective movement. We didn't try the hotel or the pool (due to feeling unwell), but the changing room showers weren't very clean (the grout was a bit moldy, and previous users had left a mess). On the other hand, the treatment rooms were very nice and relaxing. It's a shame about the treatments, though. In short, the staff were very welcoming and pleasant, but the experience was far too expensive for what it was.
