I cannot grade this establishment as I was unable to stay, but I can certainly rate the customer service. At approximately 3 PM, an official Iceland road vehicle blocked the route to the guesthouse due to a severe sand and wind storm. After waiting for several hours without any change in the road conditions, I immediately wrote to the owner but received no response. I then called and spoke with a very pleasant lady who advised me to inform her of the road conditions so I could either request a refund or arrive later. Around 7 PM, with no improvement in the road situation, I called again to explain that I would be unable to reach the guesthouse. It was not a matter of unwillingness to try, but an impossibility, as the road was officially closed. She instructed me to send an email to request a refund, which I did. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any reply, and it has now been seven days. In the interim, I contacted Agoda, through whom I made the booking, to intervene. They informed me that their attempts to reach the owner were also unsuccessful. While I understand that the road closure was not the owner's fault, it was not mine either. Consequently, I incurred the cost of both a new hotel and this reservation. A simple response explaining the situation would have been appreciated, as the lack of communication demonstrates a complete disregard for customer respect. Therefore, I cannot recommend this establishment.

The best apartment of our 7-day trip! The two young guys at the reception desk were very friendly. The location is perfect to see the northernlight! And the Breakfast is also great. I definitely recommend it!
