We booked this hotel for 2 nights. Unfortunately my dog died on the 10th so I had her empty dog crate with me. I advised the owner of this and he asked me to leave crate near reception. So I did. Today I went to the vets to see my dead dog and organise her cremation. My friend went to reception at around 9pm to ask for a towel as the others were wet from swimming all day in the pool. The owner then came to the door and demanded to check the air conditioner (as they don't work here) I said can he come back tomorrow once we have checked out? He then started yelling at us advising us there was a dog in the room and he has video evidence, (he doesn't, my dogs dead) I showed him a photo of my dead dog- dead and showed him the cremation stuff, he kept asking us to leave. So I asked for my bond back he said he would give it to me, once we left the room he locked the reception door and refused my bond when he checked the room, there was never a dog there!!!! He called the police and told them he was being threatened when nobody threatened him, he stood at the exit refusing to let us leave and was demanding to go into the bathroom I was showering in. He threatened us then said he would take us to court? I'm not quite sure what for? He had a massive fight with another tenant this morning and I now believe she wasn't in the wrong at all, based on his behaviour with us tonight. The rooms aren't the cleanest, bugs everywhere, air conditioner doesn't seem to work, it turns on but the rooms are hot 24/7. The owner is rude, he is a liar, lying to police to get them there faster. He intimidates his guests and kicks them out at 10pm for a reason he made up in his head. And is now refusing to pay my bond back. As I write this I am waiting for police to show up. Do not come to this motel. The man is sick in the head and can't run a motel to save his life. Absolutely disgusted and appalled

I rarely leave negative reviews but this experience was beyond unacceptable. This place is a complete bed bug haven. Our stay was an absolute nightmare. On the first night, one of the kids developed rashes and when we checked the beds, we found live bed bugs. There is no excuse for this, bed bugs are parasites and no guest, especially children, should be exposed to that. When we reported the issue, we were told that a refund would only be issued if we could produce a live bug as proof. We did exactly that and even after showing a live bed bug, the refund was still not provided. We were so disturbed by the situation that we left the next morning, even though we had already paid for another night. A staff member named Jimmy agreed to process the refund, but after that he stopped responding to emails entirely. The worst part is the stress that followed. We were genuinely worried about carrying them back in our luggage, which meant washing everything and dealing with days of anxiety. This property is unhygienic, management dishonest and completely unfit for families. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give 0 stars on the room I would. Filthy. Bed bugs, microwave with food drips still in it, aircon full of dust, fridge not cleaned, dirty crusty socks under bed, linen dirty and when we lifted the sheets up the mattresses are full of mould and what looks like urine stains. Floor not vacuumed with dead cockroaches. Wouldn't stay there again, thank the Lord it was for only 1 night. Oh and BEFORE YOU SAY MY NAME ISN'T ON THE BOOKING that's because my partner booked in his NAME! Not wrong motel like you say to every single person that gives you a bad review! I have pics to prove what I say is truth. Take responsibility for your rooms! Absolute FILTH!
