This was one of my favorite hotels in Bordeaux when it was a Live Hotel, but what a sudden drop in service since it became an Ibis Styles! Clearly fewer staff; we waited for the parking lot to open, we waited at reception, and I had to call four times before someone answered when I returned to ask for a bill that hadn't been sent to me. The quality of breakfast has declined significantly, with no hot dishes available. The heating problem in the room was not resolved, and the same was true for my colleagues... I don't blame the staff, who are very pleasant; I see them running around everywhere, but it feels like working conditions have deteriorated since they became part of the Accor group... Disappointing.

We had a lovely weekend in Bordeaux, and of course, we always choose Ibis Styles, as usual. Cleanliness: 100/100 Service: 95/100 Location: 90/100 (about a 15-minute walk to the tram stop) Staff friendliness: 100/100, especially Clara Breakfast: wonderful Tea room: impeccable The only downsides: Paid parking (€8) Closed swimming pool Additional positives: Gym available
